WARNING: Despite the inherent sillyness of combining Lovecraftian horror with the show Matador, this game is not a comedy.
The focus of the game is on playing your character, the investigation and the experience of being the only ones to notice something is afoot. The investigation element is about surviving and the strange occurences moreso than solving it or revealing it and saving the day. This is underscored by the stark contrasts between folksy Korsbæk and the reality of the events taking place there.
In 1930s Denmark, four uppercrust citizens are caught in a bizarre chain of events involving inexplicable deaths, supernatural events and an outside world seemingly entirely unaware of this. Together, they are the only ones willing and able to get to the bottom of current events in Korsbæk as unfathomable powers turn their world upside down.
Step into the TV-show Matador as you've never seen it beføre, as Maude, Elisabeth Friis, Jørgen Varnæs and Dr. Hansen chip away at a lovecraftian mystery and gradually lose their minds and their connection to their loved ones.

Player types:
You like to explore your character and its relationships in-depth. You're more interested in what it does to your character and its worldview to experience the mystery, than simply solving it. You have, potentially, seen the show Matador. It's not a requirement, but there are a mere 24 episodes and easter is far away.
Gamemaster type:
You enjoy the classic gamemaster function of conveying information and playing the npcs. The game has a large character gallery and the relationships between characters is a central part of the game. It's a large bonus to be familiar with the show, both for references and for easily getting into the npcs interpersonal relations, but not a must.

Content notes
May contain scenes with body horror, abortions, and the death of a child.
