Above the planet Asgaard hangs the fortified space station, Valhal. From here, Odin rules with spaceship and cyborg warriors over all of the solar system, Yggdrasil – from the quantum sun to Ginnunggab, the black hole.

And yet Odin sits uneasy on his throne. Everywhere there are those who would topple Odin and crush everything he has built. Thus, he builds a prognosticator to tell him of the impending Ragnarok. Alas! What Odin cannot conceive is that every choice he makes brings him and Yggdrasil ever closer to the all-destroying Ragnarok!

In this scenario you will step into the role of the weird space norns, looking into the mists of the future to determine the road towards Ragnarok. With inspiration from Norse mythology and weird space comics you will tell a hyper tragedy of proud people driving inevitably towards a common destruction. You will be choosing characters from a catalog of figures, using the chosen characters as your lens into the story of greatness and destruction.

Player types:

You are ready to tell a story together with your coplayers, and to share the responsibility for guiding the story in a good direction. You enjoy playing multiple characters and can accept that none of the characters are “yours”. You are up for improvising descriptions of strange creatures and fearsome spaceships. You love over-the-top descriptions.

Gamemaster type:

You are the coach, providing your players with the optimal conditions for telling a story. You guide the players, keep track of time and of the structure of the game, and keep the big picture in mind. Apart from that, you participate in scenes alongside the players.
