"The warlock-engineer Razvan rubs his paws together. The submarine lies unprotected by the underground dock. All the other Skaven have gathered in the grand hall to hear the latest decree from the Council of the Great Horned Rat.
Razvan lets out a whistle between his sharp teeth. From the shadows, his crew comes rushing. Now it’s all about getting through the lock before anyone notices them..."
Being a Skaven is tough. Once you have fallen out of favor, it takes a great act of antiheroism to get back in. So a ragtag crew on a warpstone-powered submarine embarks on a journey up an iconic Warhammer river to topple the Highbridge in Nuln.
An action-comedy where players get a chance to skulk a band of antiheroes through the Empire. The scenario has a river-shaped structure, where part of the plot is created along the way using a clever table system.
The scenario is loosely connected to "The Racing Rats" from 2019. It’s not necessary to have played or read this to take this river trip.

Player types:
You wish to play overconfident, incompetent creatures heading into a place where they are most certainly out of their depth, in a dark yet also fun fantasy universe. You are ready to fail forward as a team and play "evil" characters with a twist and chaotic charm in their blood.
Gamemaster type:
You are up for using tables to create and set scenes, improvise, and embrace the players' contributions. You love action and short, explosive moments. You’re excited to push the characters out into deep water and fish them back out again. However, you don’t need extensive knowledge of the Warhammer universe to dive in.
