ANTDROMEDA is a ‘mega game’ where players control ant colonies exploring the galaxy. Build your colony, gather resources, and build spaceships, all while trading and planning with other players. With a unique real-time timetrack system, the game unfolds over 48 hours, allowing for long-term planning and cooperation.
NB: For this game, it is necessary to sign up for two time slots; one Thursday (startup) and one Saturday evening (finale). The 48+ hours in between you may come and go as you like.

In the year 6025, the ant colonies have begun their ambitious conquest of the Antdromeda galaxy. But amid the promise of discovery, dark and mysterious threats looms, ready to disrupt their grand plans.
ANTDROMEDA is a ‘mega game’ made especially for Fastaval that takes 48 hours to play. In this game, players control different ant colonies, each striving to expand their influence across the galaxy. The core mechanics of the game combine engine building and worker placement, but with a twist: the game uses a real-time timetrack-system, where the progression of time is synced with real-world time.
Players must build up their production of resources, build buildings, and put together spaceships to fend off the dangers of the galaxy. However, this is not a solo mission, and cooperation is crucial for success. Players can trade and team up with one another to help accelerate their progress. This allows players to specialize in different areas, whether that is resource production, ressource conversion or military strength, and create strategic partnerships with other players.
This is not a game that is going to take all of your precious Fastaval time. You will only need to interact with the game sporadically, and players can decide for themselves how deep they want to dive into the mechanics of the game.
About the designers
Johannes has been designing board games for a while now, maybe 8 years? And he’s pretty ok at it. He’s had two other games at Fastaval in previous years: Cumulus and Age of Antpires. He values good graphic design, and games which don’t have perfect information. And he also likes to dance.
Mads Emil was at Fastaval for the first time last year, and was instantly enamored by the vibes. Together with Jasper, he won Game Rush, but lost when he bet 20 shots from the bar playing table football. If you see Mads Emil, feel free to talk to him, so he doesn’t feel lonely. Interests include Japanese board games, hot sauces and the first Twilight movie.
