Republic is a jenga-based scenario about mad anarchism set in a utopian city on the outskirts of ancient Persia. It is a drama which explores an anarchist society under undue pressure during a tough winter

The scenario is GM-less and has a very open narrative. All roles have a vision for how the city should be organized, and the players will work for these visions by displaying their madness for the city. Every time they change society in this way, the will draw blocks from the tower. A collapse means that they lose their vision, and their function in society, but it does not remove the role from the game.

The scenario is about serious madness - every role hears voices, hallucinates, has delusions, and the like. It is a scenario about freedom, which gives the players the freedom to play with alternative ideas and forms of society, and gives an insight into what it means to be mad.

Player types:

You like dramatic co-creative play, where you have to be mad to change the world. You are ok with your role's fate being dependent on a jenga tower. You must be prepared to set scenes and play side characters.

Gamemaster type: Facilitating player

You are a player like the others, and are not alone in setting scenes and playing side characters. Your job is to explain the premise and rules of the game, and then let everyone share the role of GM.
